Socrates Glog

I love Socrates and decided to make a glog about him. It's not too fancy but here it is:

  1. I like how your background matches with your theme of ancient history, the glogster provides concise information about who Socrates was and visual illustrations of how he looked. Great work

  2. I love the video! In Greek class in undergrad I had to read Plato's Apology and I really enjoyed imagining the trial and reading Plato's version of Socrates' words. I wish our professor had shown us a video like this because it really drives the courtroom drama aspect home. In my mind I always imagined Socrates as a very calm speaker but this is a more dramatic, emotional portrayal so it was interesting for me to watch.

  3. I love the background! I wanted to use something similar but couldn't find anything. As someone who is not too knowledgeable about Socrates, this video did a fantastic job. The only thing I might add would be more pictures, just to make it a little more colorful. But, I'm sure that finding photos about Socrates is easier said than done!

  4. Like Elizabeth, I didn't know much about Socrates, so I enjoyed watching the video. I also liked the captions you incorporated.

  5. I like that you added a diverse set of visuals, from paintings to sculptures to actors. The background is appropriate, too.

  6. It's always a little more difficult to find media related to those who lived in the distant past. You did a good job of finding relevant materials. A simply layout is often better. It's not about quantity. It's about quality of content.
